Popart from your digital photos

My popart posters are created from your digital photos. Images do not have to be set in a professional studio or taken with a fancy camera. Just email me a photo, and I'll let you know if it will work for a popart creation.

Girls!

I have 5 boys. My boys have friends that are boys. Therefore, most of the posters I have done have been boys. I do have 3 nieces and last Christmas I gave them, and their brother, a popart canvas of themselves.

All framed up...

Lana felt safe framing her popart like mine. The black poster frames with non-glare glass will protect the pictures and keep them looking good, forever! Popart posters can also be dry-mounted on black foamboard and hung directly on the wall. Or, you can even have them printed on canvas. Today, I helped Lana pick the perfect spot for her posters.

First Customer

My friend, Lana, saw my posters and wanted some popart for herself. After school, we stopped by her house and snapped a couple photos of her boys. Nick wasn't sure what he wanted to do in his picture. I suggested he take a picture with his dog, Goldie. I know he loves his dog. In fact, I've even heard Nick refer to her as his sister! This was my first popart animal and my first person with glasses. It was fun figuring out how to do the lens and I am so happy with the results.
Ben is an athletic kid and by the looks of his banged up skateboard, I knew it was something he did A LOT. The posters are ordered and will be here shortly. I'll try to get a picture of them hanging in their home.

Hobby Lobby

After touching up all the posters, it was time to get them printed and framed. I took them to Hobby Lobby for framing. I love the final product. After being stopped by several Hobby Lobby customers, I know other people love this idea, too. The framing department manager asked if she could have some copies to use for her displays and if anyone was interested, she would give them one of my business cards. I guess it's time to get some business cards....

How it all started...

My boys have always loved super heroes and cartoons. I wanted to put them in that world. I wondered if it was possible to turn a digital photo into a fantastic work of art. About a year ago, my husband bought me some software. I was absolutely clueless. After months, and months, and months of trying, I have figured out my secret recipe and my craft-POPART.

I took pictures of the boys doing what they love. Seth was always on his cell phone, Josh-Guitar Hero Expert, Eli-BMX star, Jack loved his Binky-Snuggle, and Andy had just started crawling.
